Cara Install e-SWORD

Jesus told us that since we've been blessed we should bless others. I am happy to provide a blessing to others in the form of free Bible study software! As a Bible student and teacher I have experienced the necessary work involved in searching the Scriptures for the competent preparation of a Bible study, Sunday school lesson, or a sermon. There are volumes of books available as study tools (and the Christian community is indebted to the various authors' perseverance and scholarship), but there is not enough time, money, or shelf space to properly take advantage of these resources. Computer software has changed the way we can study the Word of GOD. With a simple search or click of the mouse button, we now have access to these same volumes of scholarship within seconds!e-Sword is a fast and effective way to study the Bible. e-Sword is feature rich and user friendly with more capabilities than you would expect in a free software package. The fact that e-Sword is free is just one of the blessings and does not speak of the quality of the software. I make my living writing software and I believe I have put forth my best effort in this endeavor. The real work, however, was put in by the godly men and women who devoted countless years creating the texts that have been made available for our benefit.

Panduan Install
1. Versi PC

  • * Download e-Sword dari http://www.e-sword.net/downloads.html
  • * Install e-Sword di PC (proses penginstallannya mudah, cukup ikuti langkah-langkah yang diminta, biasa cukup dengan menekan tombol Next)
  • * Download Bible http://www.e-sword.net/bibles.html (untuk bahasa Indonesia tersedia di dalam 2 versi, IBIS (Indonesia Bahasa Indonesia Sehari-hari) dan ITB (Indonesia Terjemahan Baru)
  • * Install Bible di PC (proses penginstallanya juga mudah)
  • * Selesai, anda sudah memiliki Alkitab Elektronik di PC anda.
2. Versi Pocket PC

  • * Untuk penginstallannya diperlukan sebuah PC juga. Penginstall dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft ActiveSync, untuk itu pastikan PC Windows anda sudah terinstall software ini. Jika PC anda belum memiliki Microsoft Actvive Sync, silahkan download dari situs Microsoft, kemudian install di PC anda.
  • * Download e-Sword Pocket PC dari http://www.e-sword.net/pocketpc/downloads.html (pilih sesuai dengan Operating System yang digunakan pada PDA anda)
  • * Pada halaman yang sama download juga Bible Pocket PC, sama dengan versi PC pilih Bible sesuai dengan bahasa yang ingin akan digunakan, misal IBIS (Indonenesia Bahasa Indonesia Sehari-hari) dan atau ITB (Indonesia Terjemahaan Baru).
  • * Pasang kabel data PDA ke PC (pastikan PC anda sudah mendeteksi PDA anda, terlihat dari aktifnya Microsoft ActiveSync)
  • * Install e-Sword Pocket PC (proses penginstallannya juga mudah, ikuti saja langkah-langkah yang diminta). Catatan: Selain di PC, ada proses konfirmasi pada PDA yang harus diikuti, misal penginstallan SQL Mobile. Baca petujuknya pada layar PC dan PDA anda.
  • * Install Bible Pocket PC (proses penginstallan juga tinggal mengikuti langkah-langkah yang diminta)
  • * Selesai, PDA anda sudah memiliki Alkitab Elektronik
